The 26th Annual Spring Planting and Music Festival at Big South Fork NRRA is a free, family-friendly celebration of Appalachian heritage and mountain life. Set at the historic Oscar and Lora Blevins Farm Sites near Bandy Creek, the day features live music, mule team plowing and planting demonstrations, butter churning, quilting, traditional crafts, vendors, and hands-on activities for all ages. A guided bird walk with ornithologist Dr. Charles Nicholson kicks off the morning. Free shuttle runs throughout the day.
